The Heritage Agency of Denmark makes a number of databases available to the public. These databases provide information (text, maps, and photographs) on various aspects of Denmark's cultural heritage. Some of the databases include information in English.
Danish Museums Online
Guide to Denmark's state-owned and state-subsidised museums with presentations of their collections, photographs, and practical information, and links to their websites. Full English version.
Art Index Denmark
Art Index Denmark contains information on approx. 39,000 works, by approx. 6,200 artists, distributed on around 64 institutions. Art Index Denmark also contains Weilbach's Dictionary of Danish artists and international artists who have worked in Denmark. Partly in English.
Archaeological Records of Europe - Networked Access
Internet portal with access to cultural heritage databases from six European countries, including Denmark, and to a digital archive of material from 12 archaeological excavations. The project received funding from the EU. Partly in English.

Danish Buildings
Register of information on approx. 9,700 listed buildings and 375,000 buildings worthy of preservation, as well as basic information on all existing buildings in Denmark. The register is linked to a geographical information system and approx. 240,000 photographs. In Danish only.
Sites and Monuments
Register of approx. 165,000 cultural heritage sites, primarily archaeological finds and ancient sites and monuments. Approx. 7,000 of the entries are submarine, i.e. shipwrecks, anchors, submarine settlements, etc. The register is linked to an extensive selection of modern and historical maps, charts and aerial photographs. Gods & Graves
A presentation in text and pictures of 450 finds from Denmark's Bronze Age, based on extracts from and combination of the National Museum's electronic register of objects and the Heritage Agency's Sites and Monuments database. In Danish only.
Monument, Ideology and Landscape
Nationwide mapping and classification of Danish sites, monuments and meeting-places of national significance. The material was collected by sending questionnaires to all local authorities in Denmark. In Danish only.
