CARARE

Danish cultural heritage will now be available at Europeana. This is made possible via the EU-financed project Connecting ARchaeology and ARchitecture in Europeana (CARARE).

CARARE (www.CARARE.eu) is a project in connection with the virtual library, Europeana, which has as its objective to give everybody access to Europe's cultural and scientific sources. CARARE will enrich Europeana with archaeological and architectural data, including 3D and Virtual Reality.

Danish cultural heritage

Through CARARE, the Heritage Agency of Denmark will supply data from the databases ‘Sites and Monuments’, which is a nationwide register of the localised archaeological cultural heritage, and ‘Danish Buildings’, which contains information on all listed buildings and buildings worthy of preservation in Denmark.
